Tomorrow, we will receive the long-awaited decision about Canada’s liability in the Sixties Scoop case from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Chief Marcia Martel (Brown), the representative Plaintiff in Brown v Canada, will be part of the ceremonial sharing of that decision likely between 1-3pm, soon after the decision is released. Please visit this page tomorrow morning for an exact time.

  1. I thought Osgoode court was today starting at 1pm to 3pm. This post says to be at Native Family and Child Services between 1 and 3pm..Which is it ? Also, the attached PDF seems to indicate the decision was already made.

  4. I feel the courts should have set the damages awarded.The government will try to low ball the offer,
    I married a white man because they were the only faces I saw and now my grand kids will have no
    benefit. And was not that the purpose of the sixties scoop? to make us white,without claim to our
    rightful heritage
